Discover TransPyr™: Advanced Recycling for a Circular Future
THE TECHNOLOGY
TransPyr™ is based on the concept of Fluidized Bed Catalytic Cracking (FCC) as used in the refining industry.
TransPyr™ produces a clean C5–C10 liquid that can be added downstream of the steam cracker. The process is electrically heated and does not burn methane to generate process heat, potentially reducing its carbon footprint by as much as 95%.
TransPyr™ is designed to transform waste polyethylene and polypropylene into valuable liquid products for petrochemical applications and circular production.
Our technology provides a pathway for recovering value from waste plastics while supporting the growing demand for sustainable, circular feedstocks.
Waste Diversion
Reducing plastic waste through advanced recycling solutions.
Resource Recovery
Recovering valuable materials from waste plastic streams.
Circular Feedstock
Creating valuable liquid products for circular petrochemical production.
SCALABILITY
Scalable Reactor Design
It’s important to understand that each of our tubular reactors can process 5 KTA, and a typical plant will consist of 4 to 8 of these tubes operating in parallel. A plant would typically operate at 20–40 KTA but could scale to as much as 100 KTA with 20 tubes. That’s the beauty of the process: we scale by adding more reactor tubes rather than scaling up a single large reactor.

PROTECTED TECHNOLOGY
Intellectual Property
P2C Technology has established intellectual property protection for TransPyr™ and its continued development. An issued patent for TransPyr™ covers 20 countries in Europe, with patent applications pending in Canada and the United States. Additional patent applications covering process improvements are also in prosecution. TransPyr™ is a trademarked name as of May 12, 2026.
EUROPEAN COMMERCIALIZATION
A European Pathway for TransPyr™
P2C Technology has formed a joint venture, Aspyre Technologies BV, with a Dutch company to provide a pathway for the commercialization of TransPyr™ in Europe. Located at Brightlands Campus in the southern Netherlands, Aspyre Technologies BV supports the European deployment and commercialization of TransPyr™ technology.
A CIRCULAR APPROACH
Creating value from waste plastics
TransPyr™ converts waste polyethylene and polypropylene into liquid feedstock for petrochemical companies. This approach supports circular production while helping recover valuable resources from waste plastics.
By connecting advanced recycling with petrochemical production, P2C supports a practical circular economy and more sustainable plastics future.
